Where's the Marshalltown Art Festival located?
In Downtown Marshalltown on East Main Street between Center St. and 2nd Ave. Also, join us in the Gallery Garden on the Corner of East Main and 2nd Ave!
Where should we park?
There is free parking all around downtown, with public lots to the west of Center on Church Street, and street parking around the festival area.
Can we bring pets?
We love pets, but please leave your pets at home. Due to the heat and number of people, your pet will thank you for not taking them into the crowd! City regulations do allow for service dogs to be admitted to the site. No pets in artist tents, please!

Are credit cards accepted?
Most of the artists and vendors do, but bring cash to be on the safe side.
The Alcohol Tent and Raffle tent take cash only. There is an ATM on the corner of East Main St and 1st Ave at Great Western Bank in case you forget to bring cash with you!
What are the hours of MAF?
10 a.m. – 5 p.m., but there’s yoga at the Glick-Sower house at 8:30am!
Is there a fee to get in?
No, this Festival and all entertainment is free to the public!
What about alcohol?
Learn more about the Iowa Craft Beer and Wine that will be served (for those 21 and older) at the Festival! Once you are confirmed to be older than 21, you will receive a wrist band which will allow you to purchase a drink ticket for either Iowa Craft Beer or Wine. You are able to stroll East Main Street with your beverage inside the Festival site (East Main Street between Center Street and 2nd Ave, and in the Gallery Garden).
Alcohol will be available from Summerset Winery, Firetrucker Brewery, Lake Time Brewery and Confluence Brewing – the tent will be in the Gallery Garden Parking Lot:
- Vignoles: Semi-Sweet White Wine made from the French varietal ‘Vignoles’. This “Midwestern Riesling” has a pear, peach and apricot aroma with a fruit forward flavor and a light citrus finish. All grapes are from Summerset and Victor Rose Vineyards.
- Pink Frost: Blush Wine. Sweet and sassy light pink wine with hints of peach, sun-ripened strawberries, pears and a smooth pink grapefruit finish.

Confluence Brewing Company:

- Farmer John’s
No outside alcoholic beverages or containers are permitted. Patrons found in violation will be asked to dispose of the outside beverage. No Festival beverages are allowed outside of the Festival site.
Should I bring my whole family?
There are numerous activities at the Festival for youth and the best part, they are all FREE!
Where are the bathrooms?
Bathroom locations will be on the corner of East Main and 1st Ave AND on the corner of East Main and 2nd Ave!
What if it rains?
The show must go on! The Festival will continue rain or shine. Pack an umbrella or poncho just in case.
